Encoding
========

Attribute to specify the character enconding used in the text of the document. For :term:`Érudit PS` all the XMLs must be encoded with :term:`UTF-8`.

The :term:`XML` standard specification (`2.8 Prolog and Document Type Declaration <http://www.w3.org/TR/2000/REC-xml-20001006#sec-prolog-dtd>`_) provides
more information about the encoding characteristics required for this standard.
